The new Riese & Muller Charger 4 features the all-new Bosch Smart System environment: a 750 Wh battery fully integrated into the frame diagonal and the powerful Performance Line CX motor. The two components of the Bosch "intelligent system" (Smart System) fit perfectly into the frame's elegant, balanced design, offering additional power. Thanks to the optimal coordination of the components, you can now cover up to 160 kilometers and more on a single battery charge. The Bosch Smart System environment also gives you exceptional connectivity (GPS, engine parameter modification, tracking (optional).

A 250-watt auxiliary battery can also be added to the frame of the Riese & Muller Charger 4 (Range Extender 250 w).

With the new "Smart System" from Bosch, you'll always be one step ahead and always have an overview of all important parameters, thanks to the integrated cockpit with its Kiox 300 display and remote LED control. And if you ever get lost, the bright light of the daytime running lights will show you the way.

750 watt battery

L’impressionnante autonomie du Charger 4 (< 100 km) est assurée par une batterie de 750  Wh idéalement positionnée dans le tube diagonal. La batterie est entièrement intégrée dans le cadre et n’affecte donc en rien l’équilibre du vélo, grâce à son positionnement optimal.  Elle peut être facilement retirée et chargée en dehors du vélo si nécessaire.

Bosch Performance CX Smart System engine

The fourth generation of the Performance CX is the most powerful electric bike motor ever produced by Bosch. It currently sets the standard with up to 340% pedaling assistance, a maximum torque of 85 Nm, extremely sporty starting characteristics and pedaling assistance up to 120 rpm. It is small and compact, and its integration is ultra-aesthetic and unobtrusive.

LED remote control and Intuvia 100

Bosch has reinvented the E-Bike cockpit: the black and white Intuvia 100 display gives you all the information you need to ride. The LED remote control displays key information at a glance for quick and easy operation of the Charger4 Mixed. The color indicates your driving mode.

Gates carbon belt bike with Enviolo transmission (Charger 4 Vario and GT Vario)

The Gates Carbon Drive belt requires no lubrication, never rusts and lasts much longer than most chains. It is made of high tensile strength carbon fibre. Whether in the city or the country, off-road or on the road, with Gates Carbon Drive belt you can reach any destination, in any weather.

The Enviolo 380 uses rotating, tilt-adjustable balls that are positioned between two discs. This makes it easy to shift gears when stopped. With the Enviolo 380 gear hub, you always ride in the perfect gear ratio with no gaps between gear changes, because with an infinite number of gears in a 380% gear ratio range, shifting is a very smooth process.

Remote control with LED and Kiox 300 display

Bosch has reinvented the E-Bike cockpit: the Kiox 300 display is perfectly integrated into the handlebars and allows for neat wiring. The LED remote control displays key information at a glance for quick and easy operation of the Charger4. The color indicates your riding mode, while the Kiox 300 display shows your remaining range.

Riese & Muller RX Connect bike geolocation

The RX chip turns your Riese & Muller into a connected electric bike: simply book the appropriate RX service online, so you can geo-locate your bike at any time and operate the bike with the RX Connect app. Depending on the service package, you can protect your bike with full theft protection via GPS tracking and the theft recovery service. The RX app automatically records your bike's location and your riding statistics via GPS. The Lock function notifies you if your Charger 4 is moved.
