The Riese & Muller Carrie: The first compact electric cargo bike from Riese & Muller

Finding a parking space or negotiating a narrow bend: worries now forgotten thanks to the Carrie. Thanks to its narrow 43 cm Basis Box, you'll be as agile as on a standard bike, while still being able to find a place in your bike room. Its double kickstand is easy and safe to operate in either direction, even when the Cargo bike is full.

In the folded position, the optional Flex Box is high enough to accommodate one water pack - or four packs in the open position. And if you need even more cargo space, a luggage rack with MIK system is also available. (80 kg max. load on the load surface, 27 kg max. load on the luggage rack).

To develop the Carrie, Riese & Muller based itself on the principle of circular design: designing products that last as long as possible and can enter a new life cycle at the end of it. The compact frame is made from recycled aluminum, coated with a resource-saving powder paint. For the optional child canopy, Riese & Muller has eliminated all potentially harmful PVC. The Carrie's accessories have been designed to be easy to disassemble, clean and, if necessary, repair, so that they can be used for a long time without any problems.

With the lightweight, efficient Bosch Performance Line SX motor and fixed 400 Wh battery, you can hit the streets with style and ease. To recharge the battery, simply take the Culture Mixte home with you. It's sure to look great at home!

Bosch Performance motor and 545-watt battery for ample autonomy

The Bosch Performance Line motor and PowerPack 545 Wh battery, vertically integrated on the frame, provide a range of up to 60 kilometers on a full charge. Thanks to the optional suspended seatpost, you can comfortably negotiate curbs and potholes. With its height-adjustable saddle and height- and tilt-adjustable stem, the seat is perfectly suited to cyclists between 1.50 m and 2.00 m tall, allowing you to choose between a sporty or more comfortable position.

Our Touring models are equipped with a 10-speed Microshift transmission. This derailleur impresses with its proven technology and high reliability, high-quality workmanship and ease of use.

Bosch Intuvia 100

The Intuvia 100 on-board computer is both easy and intuitive to use. It provides an optimum overview of key driving data such as distance covered, journey time, range, speed and driving mode. The Intuvia 100 also displays the exact percentage of battery charge. It's easy to operate, thanks to the LED Remote control on the handlebars.

The optional Purion 200 on-board computer also offers a sleek display and information on speed, range and much more.

Bosch 545 watt battery

The Carrie's range (60-80 km) is ensured by a compact, ideally positioned 545 Wh battery. An optional 725 Wh battery is available, and can be easily added and removed as required, thanks to its pouch.

Gates carbon belt and Enviolo transmission (Carrie Vario)

The Gates Carbon Drive belt requires no lubrication, never rusts and lasts much longer than most chains. It is made of high tensile strength carbon fibre. Whether in the city or the country, off-road or on the road, with Gates Carbon Drive belt you can reach any destination, in any weather.

The Enviolo 380 uses rotating, tilt-adjustable balls that are positioned between two discs. This makes it easy to shift gears when stopped. With the Enviolo 380 gear hub, you always ride in the perfect gear ratio with no gaps between gear changes, because with an infinite number of gears in a 380% gear ratio range, shifting is a very smooth process.

The Carrie's astonishing range comes as standard with a 545 Wh battery. An additional 725-watt battery is available as an option, for even greater autonomy.

Riese & Muller RX Connect

The RX chip turns your Riese & Muller into a connected electric bike: simply book the appropriate RX service online, so you can geolocate your bike at any time and operate it with the RX Connect app. Depending on the service package, you can protect your bike with comprehensive theft protection via GPS tracking and the theft location and return service. The RX app automatically records your bike's location and your riding statistics via GPS. The Lock function informs you if your Carrie is moved.

The Basis Box measures 45 cm by 30 cm and comes with a hard-wearing hood to protect your load from the rain. The Flex Box's name says it all: unfolded, it provides a total surface area of 45 cm by 65 cm for a large sports bag or a week's shopping. Cargo bags with a capacity of up to 90 liters make loading and unloading a breeze. The Flex Box can also be fitted with a child seat and a child hood, providing protection from wind and weather.
