The Speed Pedelec ASKA SuperCommuter: A very special patented aluminum frame made in Belgium.

Tubular (round) frames are generally used for traditional bicycles, but high-tech electric bikes with top-notch batteries and powerful motors require a little "something extra".

ASKA therefore focuses on a new, patented concept for manufacturing its frames. By giving aluminum sheet metal a prominent place in its design process, ASKA is changing the rules of the bicycle manufacturing industry. This new technology (frame + removable sheet metal, all in 7020 aluminum) not only gives the bike great rigidity, but also greater flexibility in the choice of colors, since the colored elements of the bike are simply screwed onto the frame. They can therefore be easily interchanged.

All ASKA frames are built by certified Belgian suppliers with exceptional expertise in industrial manufacturing. ASKA does not want to depend on Asian suppliers, and aims for a high-quality product, entirely made in Europe, built to the highest standards of steel construction.

Exclusive speed pedelec with Gates carbon belt and Pinion C 1.6 transmission (Pinion Smartshift C 1.12i optional)

The ASKA Belt SuperCommuter Speed Pedelec comes as standard with Pinion C 1.6 manual transmission. Gates carbon belt drive has been optimized for this Speed Pedelec and offers optimum operating comfort in absolute silence. The belt needs no lubrication and is maintenance-free. Most of the cables are almost completely concealed, giving the Aska Performance a very streamlined design.

The transmission in the Pinion crankset is an ingenious German design based on automotive technology. Thanks to the 6 integrated gears, the ÅSKA speed pedelec achieves an impressive transmission range of 295% to 600% (Pinion C 1.12i).

What's more, the gearbox requires very little maintenance. Smooth, silent gear changes in all operating conditions.

Get rid of greasy, rusty chains. The Gates Carbon Drivesystem is revolutionary in the field of belt drives. Gates belts are carbon-reinforced and virtually maintenance-free. They last longer than chains and don't need to be greased.

Powerful Neodrives Z20 RS motor

The ASKA Neodrives Z20 RS motor is a powerful, silent motor located in the rear wheel of the bicycle. It is used by major brands such as Kettler and Kalkhoff. This German motor offers maximum power of 1,200 W. Thanks to this motor, the ASKA BIKE can easily reach speeds of up to 45 km/h. Looking for an electric bike with a reliable, low-maintenance motor? Aska: "Bike of the Year Awards 2023" by VAB

At the end of March, VAB announced the winners of the "Bike of the Year Awards 2023". And, in the Speed Pedelecs category, the ÅSKA Super Commuter (Performance) equipped with the C1.6 Pinion gearbox, was named winner!

The competition was fierce. Almost all speed pedelecs currently on the market were subjected to a thorough practical test. In the end, the independent jury was convinced by the ASKA bike: "The striking aesthetics, balance and rigidity of the frame combined with the powerful motor make for a very dynamic ride, while the excellent suspension ensures a safe and comfortable ride.

Pinion C 1.6 carbon-belt transmission (Pinion Smartshift C 1.12i optional)

The Pinion transmission (that's the brand name!) is designed to automotive industry standards. This 6-speed transmission offers fast, precise shifting both when stationary and on the move. It offers a transmission range of 295%. The transmission is located in the crankset, for perfect, harmonious integration into the frame.

The Gates carbon belt drive has been optimized for the Speed Pedelec and offers an optimal ride comfort in absolute silence. The belt does not need to be lubricated and is maintenance free.

Removable 945 w battery, made in Europe

ASKA is one of the few brands to offer a battery truly made in Europe. The cells of this battery can be replaced individually in the event of any defects or loss of autonomy that may occur over time. So it's not necessarily necessary to replace the whole battery.

The ASKA offers a realistic range from 50 to 90 km. The battery is removable. It can be charged on or off the bike.

The ASKA's lighting signature is the talk of the town! Its unique Busch & Muller headlight(double on ASKA Performance) offers excellent visibility, day and night.

The ASKA is one of the few Speed Pedelec models to feature the new Smart Shift technology from transmission manufacturer Pinion. Pinion Smart Shift C 1.12i brings automotive driving dynamics to the electric bike. This electronically controlled 12-speed sequential transmission is designed to automotive industry standards. It allows you to change gears quickly and precisely both when stationary and when riding, simply by pushing a button. It offers a transmission range of almost 600%. The transmission is located in the crankset, for seamless integration into the frame.

The Gates carbon belt drive has been optimized for the Speed Pedelec and offers an optimal ride comfort in absolute silence. The belt does not need to be lubricated and is maintenance free.

Rear luggage rack

The ASKA is fitted as standard with a luggage rack with side attachments that is both practical and practical. A complete luggage rack with MIK system is also available as an option.
