FARO Unit 1 bicycle helmet

A smart helmet designed with safety, visibility and style in mind.

The FARO Unit 1 smart helmet for bikes, e-bikes and speed-pedelecs is equipped with flashing LED lights that can be set via an app and integrated in the front and rear to make you especially visible during the day and at night. The light on the back of the helmet can even be used as a direction indicator (right and left), thanks to the remote control that is attached to the handlebars and comes as standard. The remote control also has a built-in sensor that detects deceleration and activates the helmet's brake lights whenever you brake.

Safety is not forgotten either, because in addition to all the usual safety approvals, the FARO helmet also incorporates the double wall MIPS system. 

If you are unlucky enough to be involved in an accident, the FARO Unit 1 helmet is equipped with a fall detector. It can notify an emergency contact registered as such in the FARO app and share your GPS location to facilitate rescue.

FARO Unit 1 MIPS helmet for electric bikes and Speed Pedelec

MIPS stands for "Multi Directional Impact Protection System". It is a low-friction layer between the rider's head and the inside of the helmet, allowing the head to move 10 to 15 mm in all directions. This allows the helmet to rotate very slightly during an impact, which absorbs the extra energy and better protects your head.

Thanks to its IPX6 protection, the Stromer Smart Helmet will keep you dry, warm in winter and cool in summer!

This helmet doesn't have dozens of unsightly vents. The two hidden vents on the front of the helmet, just above your eyes, ensure perfect ventilation in all circumstances. Removal is from the top of the helmet.

Fall detection and geolocation

The Faro Unit 1 has a fall detector. It can be set (through the FARO application) to automatically dial a phone number and/or send a message to a pre-determined contact person including the GPS coordinates of your location.

A rechargeable remote control is included with your Faro Unit 1 helmet, which is mounted on the handlebars with a quick-release fastener and allows you to indicate your direction changes. The integrated lights of the helmet flash to the right or left.
