It's a done deal! At Eurobike in Frankfurt, Stromer presented the all-new ST5 pinion Smart Shift.
From 2024, the ST7's little brother will be equipped with the new Pinion 1.9 Smart Shift electronic sequential transmission. As on the ST7, but in a 9-speed version instead of 12. This transmission enables shifting on the fly. The gear ratio range has also been improved, especially at high speeds where pedaling cadence is now ideal.
A new, extended front mudguard will also keep your trouser bottoms dry...
The ST5 Pinion will be equipped with the mysterious "Stromer Sound System". But what is it? We have no idea! We'll have a chance to talk about it later.
The other good news is the color of the ST5 Pinion "Launch Edition". Those who missed out on the matt-red ST3 Pinion in 2022 will be able to console themselves with the new ST5. Rest assured! We've ordered several of them!
The price of the new Stromer ST5 has not yet been fixed, but should be in the region of 11,000 euros.
